Saxon Fulltext search

Hi, i'm trying to use ftcontains function to make a fulltext search, but saxon does not recognize this function. can i use it in the open version??? Or it is not implemented yet? thank you.

Saxon does not currently implement the full text search feature of XQuery, and there are no immediate plans to implement it.

No, there are no plans to do this in Saxonica.

Take a look at Lux, which integrates Saxon with the Lucene full-text engine:
