SQL Elements for Saxon PE/EE within oXygen 11

How do I use the Saxon SQL extension elements within oXygen. I've tried setting an extension, within the transformation dialog, of the saxonee.jar. I've tried adding a saxon.conf file within the /lib folder. I'm missing something obvious, but it has me stumped: I keep on getting an "Unknown extension instruction" error. How do I register the extension within oXygen?

If you asked this on the saxon-help mailing list there's a good chance you would reach someone who knew the answer - probably George himself. But far fewer users follow this forum. It's good for reporting problems with Saxon, but not with the many environments in which Saxon can be deployed. The right thing to do is to raise it on an oXygen list.
