Please provide specific versions of redistributed components in Saxon-PE 9.6.0.6

Greetings,

We are preparing a purchase order for multiple Saxon-PE licenses. The organizational PO template requires that we list all included third-party components, with versions.

I'm having difficulty confirming the version information for the redistributed components in the Java version, specifically:

  • ASM (5.0?)
  • XQJ (assuming this is 1.0, but please provide confirmation)
  • ICU-J (53.1?)

Could you please confirm the versions so that we can submit our PO?

For Saxon 9.6:

The version of XQJ is the “final release version” dated 24 June 2009 - see https://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=225. I don't think it actually carries the number "1.0". (Note that the only thing we redistribute is the interface definitions),

The version of ICU-J is version 52.1, released on 2013-10-09.

ASM is not used in Saxon-PE (it's only used for bytecode generation, which is a Saxon-EE feature). But the version we are using is 5.0.3.

Just to clarify, are any of these third-party components not included in Saxon-PE?

  • Generic Sorter
  • Unicode Normalization
  • XPath Parser
  • Apache Jakarta Regexp Engine
  • Immutable Hash Trie
