Problem with user termination in net.sf.saxon.s9api.MessageListener in Saxon 9.9.1.6 (HE and EE)

When migrating my project from 9.9.1.5 to 9.9.1.6 is realized, that net.sf.saxon.s9api.MessageListener.message is not informed about user-termination anymore, i.e. terminated is false.

Any suggestions?

https://saxonica.plan.io/issues/4376 was fixed for 9.9.1.6 and might have affected the area. At least judging by its description it seems the most relevant to message listeners.

I have reproduced this in a unit test and have logged it as a bug here:

Please track that issue to monitor resolution.
