How to disable validation

I am running saxon xquery command tool to extract information from xml content. Some of the content is not valid (like for a paragraph, starting p tag is missing). I have dtd:off in my command. Still I get validation errors on the content and program exits. I am not even extracting information from that tag. It is hard to find all invalid content and fix them. Is there a way that tool can ignore errors and keep continuing.

Hi, Please may you detail how you are invoking Saxon from the command line. It may also be helpful for you to send us some code for us to try and reproduce the problem at our end.
