version and timing information with -t

Hello at all! Hello Michael! I have a question abot -t option in saxon (I use saxonb8.6.1 on WinXP from command-line). Is it possible to limit the output of this option just to version and timing information and avoid the output of files that are read and writing. In my XSLT project are nerly 2.000 HTML-Files generated. Well, you can immagine, that the full output of the -t-function is a little bit huge ;) But I would like to have just version and timing (performance) information of the transformation. How to do that with saxon? Thanks a lot in advance Dieter

No, I'm sorry, I can't think of any way of doing this (other than redirecting the output and filtering it). Michael Kay

Thanks for the answer, Michael. Could it be a suggestion for an option -ts ('s' like short) in one of next versions of saxon? (Should I post it in the Open Discussion Forum or is it here OK?) best regards Dieter
