Hi Bruce,
The source code for these tree model interfaces are available within our sourceforge project (i.e. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=29872). They exist in the java package net.sf.saxon.option
Please see: http://sourceforge.net/projects/saxon/files/Saxon-HE/9.4/
More specifically you can download the source at the URL: http://sourceforge.net/projects/saxon/files/Saxon-HE/9.4/saxon9-4-0-6source.zip/download
The code is also available for inspection within our opensource subversion repository, which of course can be checked out. Please see: https://dev.saxonica.com/repos/archive/opensource/latest9.4/hej/net/sf/saxon/option/
