Japanese collation (phonetic order)

Hi,

for an index in Japanese (Katakana / Kanji), I need to sort the index entries by phonetic order. Does anyone know if Saxon has collation sequences available for this task? What information needs to be provided to sort the index entries correctly?

The question is really, does Java have such a collation available? If you can find one in Java, then you can invoke it from Saxon.
