Bug #5996
closedUnion types extension is available in Saxon-PE
100%
Description
The documentation (https://www.saxonica.com/documentation12/index.html#!v4extensions/new-types/union-types) says that using union types requires Saxon-EE; but in fact it is also available in Saxon-PE. (As verified by running the xslt30extra union tests with Saxon-PE.)
It looks like this is a simple omission from when the extension was first introduced in Saxon 9.8, and the documentation has been wrong since then. From Saxon 11, union types are included in the 4.0 extensions; they were previously available as a Saxon syntax extension (e.g. see https://www.saxonica.com/documentation10/index.html#!extensions/syntax-extensions/union-types).
