I think that when we fix this, we should make sure that the 9.6 code points to a 9.6 version of the documentation, rather than to the documentation for the "latest release". Perhaps this means redirecting references to "documentation96" to point to "documentation" (or vice versa?) until 9.7 comes along.

For now, I've made changes to links to the documentation (found in com.saxonica.Validate, net.sf.saxon.Query, and net.sf.saxon.Transform) directing to html/documentation. Changes made to 9.6 and 9.7 branches.
