Description
The value of xsl:stylesheet/@default-validation must be preserve or strip, but Saxon also allows the values strict or lax. (The XSLT 2.0 spec permitted this in the 2003-11-12 draft, but the facility was withdrawn in the 2004-11-05 draft).
A patch is being committed on the 9.6 and 9.7 branches, and a test case is being created in the W3C XSLT3.0 test suite.
