Bug #4098

Indentation should be suppressed for mixed content in schema-validated output
Applies to branch:
9.9, trunk
Fix Committed on Branch:
9.9, trunk
Fixed in Maintenance Release:
Description
Frank Weenink reports on the saxon-help list that indentation is not being suppressed for serialization of mixed content elements in schema-validated result trees
It looks like the reason is that validation of the result tree was failing (such validation errors are non-fatal).
Note that in the documentation, schema processing / schema-aware XSLT, there is a reference to the -vw command line option which should be -outval. It doesn't explain what the effect on type annotations is, or, by implication, the effect on indentation.
- Status changed from New to Resolved
- Applies to branch trunk added
- Fix Committed on Branch 9.9, trunk added
I have corrected the obsolete references to the -vw option in the documentation, and added a note about the effect on indentation. No code changes.
9.9 documentation updated online (XML and HTML versions).
- Status changed from Resolved to Closed
- % Done changed from 0 to 100
- Fixed in Maintenance Release 9.9.1.2 added
Bug issue fixed in the Saxon 9.9.1.2 maintenance release.
