Bug #6058

Undefined term in Saxon.api documentation

Fix Committed on Branch:

Fixed in Maintenance Release:
Description
The API documentation for XsltExecutable says:
"An XsltExecutable is immutable, and therefore thread-safe. It is simplest to load a new XsltEvaluator each time the stylesheet is to be run. However, the XsltEvaluator is serially reusable within a single thread."
But XsltEvaluator is nowhere defined. If XsltExecutable is meant, then it may also be worth revisiting the counterpart (and model?) entry for XQueryExecutable to make sure it is correct.

Thanks. The reference should be to XsltTransformer
.
It looks like this error was present in 9.9 and earlier releases and was fixed in 10.x.
I don't expect we'll be rebuilding the Javadoc for 9.9, so I'm going to close this as a "won't fix".
