Description
Using saxonche 12.5.0 from Python 3.10
I am trying to log Saxon message and error output to a file but it looks like I only get message output, with errors going to the console.
I'm using this code to configure the message handling:
executable.set_save_xsl_message(False, logger.get_log_file().as_posix());
Where my logger logs to a file.
I didn't see anything in the docs that suggested a way to also get the error output.
Is this possible?

Hi Eliot,
I believe the design is to raise the errors as exceptions in python. Therefore errors can be caught with try
-except
block. If I have misunderstood your requirement or if something is not working as expected please let us know and maybe post a repo.
